Working with workgroups (3.1 Workgroups)
Workgroups make collaboration easy and networked organisations possible. It is a way to create shared „workspaces“ where groups of people can collaborate, they are just as simple to manage as a normal Plone folder.
A Workgroup acts such as a normal folder. The difference is that you can add members to it, and provide these members local roles in the workgroup.
Group members can delegate their roles to others in a workgroup, i.e., if a Member has the „Reviewer“ role, he can easily trusten it to other group members of the Workgroup.
The workgroup has a simple email form also, for sending emails to all group members.
Different group members can have different roles. You can add a workgroup anywere in the portal where you have permissions.
